Description
Neo-Grec Verdigris and Patinated Tripod Stand / Pedestal / Gueridon, ca. second half of the 19th century. A weathered patinated and verdigris bronze tripod stand in the Neo-Grec style, the circular top with raised rim above a pierced collar of anthemia and foliate forms, suspended with decorative chains. The tapering legs with applied bosses and stylized mounts, terminating in claw feet. The height allows it to function dually as a plant stand or as a sculpture/decorative object pedestal.

Condition: Outdoor exposure resulting in discoloration, heavy verdigris to legs. Missing several elements (rosette terminals, a few screws, strap & finial for completing strapping around mid of legs). Top has bending to rim. Sturdy. As-is estate found condition.
