Modernism Art Deco Patinated Bronze Sculpture of Fighting Eagles by Maximilien Fiot and cast by Susse Freres, Paris. A dynamic composition capturing two eagles locked in aerial combat, the figures suspended mid-air with talons extended, balanced on a single wing brushing a jagged rock outcrop. Exemplary of Fiot’s technical mastery and modernist sensibility, the work is notable for its dramatic tension and anatomical precision.
