A large bronze sculpture of a Striding Bull cast after Isidore Jules Bonheur (French, 1827-1901). A handsome cast of Isidore Jules Bonheur’s Striding Bull, the sculpture is one of the many variations produced in the same vein as the pair of Striding Bull monumental sculptures Bonheur modeled in 1878 to flank the entrance to Parc Georges Brassens in Paris. This variation features the bull standing perfectly still unlike the other models that are astride. 17 1/2 H x 21 W x 8 D
