Description
Modernist Brushed Steel, Cast Brass and Black Marble Pedestal Stand in the style of Maison Jansen, circa mid-20th century.Circular black marble top held in place by the horns of cast rams, each with rings held within their mouths, raised over curved brushed steel tripod legs locked in the center with a polished and machined brass stretcher, terminating in cast brass goat hoof sabots. Unmarked. 38 3/8 H x 16 1/8 marble top diameter
Condition: Trace oxidization to steel; minor scuffs and abrasions to marble top. Carefully polished and cleaned, entirely disassembled and conserved prior to offering in the auction. Overall in very good original condition.
