Description
A German oak tambour file cabinet by Heinrich Jacob, circa 1935–1955, labeled Fortschritt and retaining its original Standard key and lock. The case with tambour door enclosing pull-out shelves over a plinth base, constructed of solid and veneered oak with inset flush handles. A compact and highly functional piece of mid-century office furniture.

Condition: Presents nicely. Original surface with wear, scuffs, minor paint marks and use indicators throughout. Complete with original key.
