Danish Modern Patinated Oak and Glass Display Cabinet, circa 1950s. Unmarked. A striking Scandinavian Modern cabinet executed in patinated and oiled oak and oak veneers, it features a single glazed door with arched leaded astragals that opens to reveal an adjustable two-shelf interior. The dimensions are perfect for the modern interior, not too large or overwhelming and only 16 in total depth for a petite presence. It rests over shaped legs locked in place with a squared stretcher. 46 3/4 H x 16 1/8 D x 24 W

Condition: All surfaces with minor use indicators/wear, beautifully patinated surface oiled and a very nice presentation; some grain shrinkage striations in the legs and feet (probably from moisture on a floor at one point) and slight gapping in the stretcher joints – cabinet remains tight and firm in all joints; loss to apron molding at right corner, large chunk loss to back right foot; retains working key.
