19th Century Gilt Bronze Sculpture of Classical Man Holding a Putto, signed BOYER. A complex gilt-bronze sand-cast model of a classical mythological figure holding an infant cherub in his arms, seated in a klismo chair of fine detail with a foot raised on a small footstool while a tripod censor with flames billowing from the top is situated beside them raised on hooved sabots and mounted with beautifully chiseled Ram’s heads. Signed in script BOYER. Mid 19th Century. 17 1/2 H x 18 1/2 W x 7 D
