Lot 52:
Description
A pair of late 18th century Georgian cut glass urns with domed lids. Each exhibits a fine swirled design in the faceted bodies, the lids with equally geometrical cuts that culminate in cove-facets surrounding the finials. They rest over heavy squared bases with a ground pontil, the thick glass with wonderful tiny air bubbles caught in the glass. Rare form.
