Description
Vintage Red Lacquered Elmwood Asian Cabinet, circa early-to-mid 20th century. A Chinese red-lacquered elmwood chest fitted with three drawers over a pair of paneled doors. The drawers retain original iron pulls, while the doors are secured with a circular moon lockplate and pin. Constructed with mortise-and-tenon joinery and finished in cinnabar lacquer with a lightly worn surface consistent with age and use. Raised on straight legs.

Condition: Minor wear consistent with age and use, including some water rings and other stains to the top, shrinkage cracks, chip to the lower edge of one foot, other minor wear and losses.
