Vienna Secessionist Bentwood Armchair by Jacob & Josef Kohn, Stamped “J&J KOHN / WSETIN, AUSTRIA”.

A maroon-stained bentwood armchair attributed to the Vienna Secessionist movement, executed by Jacob & Josef Kohn. The chair features a fluid, curvilinear form and is upholstered in caramel-toned top-grain leather with brass tack accents. It rests on turned, tapering legs terminating in small ball feet. Stamped in black ink to the underside behind the front seat rail. 36 1/2 H x 23 W x 22 1/2 D, seat height 19

Condition: Heavily worn surface with loss to finish and some blistering and peeling to the finish; upholstery is in overall good condition with some minor gapping between the back panels and the back of the chair; sturdy, strong and stable throughout.
